Bromley?

I got there early on a Saturday, 5 mins before they opened and was told that i couldnt be in the building..!

They also revved my car up whilst parking it in the garage.

They were cheap though.

yeah ...im using them to fit a zaust on saturday just wanted to know if theyre repuatable.
 


yes i have. i used the ones in redhill to get my duplex powerflow exhaust system fitted. they messed me around big time, so in the end i had to drive to bromley to get the job completed. was not impressed with the time it took, but was impressed with the results
 


ur exhuast is good then? qhats the quality like? iim using people in croydon..
 


Well they have experience with powerflow, is that what youre getting? A load of kids work there. I wont be using them again..

ummm... i wasnt impressed but i can show you a pic of what mine looked like after if you want. sounded well good though
 


yes please! why was u not impressed then? as much info as poss is apprciated as im going this saturday and if they aint gonna do a good job then ill go elsewhere.
 


well i booked to get a duplex fitted at redhill on a saturday morning. it took me about an hour to get there because of where i live. i left my car with them and they told me it will be ready in about 3/4 hours. they said they will phone me when its ready so i walked around town. 2 and a half hours later, they phoned me and said we have a slight problem, our machine is broken and we cant do it today. i went back to the garage and was so pissed off because it took them 2/3 hours to tell me their machine is broken.

i asked if i could go somewhere else to have it fitted and they said everywhere else was too busy. in the end, they said the thing that they could do is send me to bromley with a mechanic to have it fitted.

about 9 hours after i got to redhill, my exhaust was completed and sounded lovely even though i was £500 poorer but worth it. about two weeks later, one of them broke off its bracket so i had to get that put back. powerflow werent happy with me going anywhere else because they said it would invalidate my warranty.

anyway, apart from that theyre ok. heres a picture of my old car (not a clio... i know!!!)

by the way, i have been to the croydon one before. as already said, theyre run by kids and i wasnt impressed there at all!

MMM nice, thats the exact style im having, loving ur wheels too mate, those tooras will be the death of me hahaha. Did u have much trouble with it after that or was it ok?
 


no. apart from that it was fine. about two months i got it done, i sold it though, but i got myself a FAST car, but then two months later, i had to get rid of that. now i see my old car (saxo in pic) driving around and seeing HIM with MY exhuasts gets me annoyed. oh well.
 


haha i get ya mate. well i guess if they do a bad job its under warranty i suppose. can just keep taking it back till its right, theyre telling me the same, twin exits costing me for backbox only £350 inc VAT. 4-5 hours work. Theyll cut my bumper and mesh too...hmm a little worrying....
 


i got the duplex full stainless system for £500 as they said there will be too much work in fitting two backboxes. might as well just have the full system. its only money.
 


I needed brakes doing on my sh*twaggon - they were pretty helpfull and we able to deal with one of the calipers not releasing properly - replaced a brake hose and didnt try to fob me off about dodgy caliper - they are also pretty cheap so thumbs up from here I guess...
 


Bromley fitted a Powerflow centre section for me. It seemed alright until I hit a pothole ten mins down the road and then it rattled like crazy.

I had to take it back the following weekend as they said that they couldnt fix it on that day!!!!
