Anyone else had problems with their 360

got it at xmas and has been fine but recently it has just started freezing after 20 mins of play. thought it was the gama at first but it does it on all my games. took it back and its got to be sent away for repair despite my complaints.
anyone else had any probs with theirs?

One of the lads here had the dreaded 3 flashing red lights after a few months of constant use. It happened just as his 3 months ran up. He called MS support, they gave him some pre paid shipping details, he sent it back and within a week he was back up and running with a new console.

Mine was locking up a lot in the TDU demo, but that was more down to Xbox live from what I could tell.

i got mine from argos and the warranty runs for 12 months and they operate a repair only warranty which f***s me off since is less than 6 months old and it cost £300!

My cousins on his 3rd replacement direct from MS.

When it was delivered the driver told him he'd collected 37 faulty 360's from people the week before. He'd delivered the replacements and had to collect 19 of those again the week after.

mate took his back to toysrus a few week back. exchanged it there and then, said loads had been back. some error about the dvd drive i think he said.

mines been spot on for 6 months now touch wood!

Mine crashed once on the very 1st day, but since then I've not had any problems <touch wood>

Sometimes mine freezes in the dashboard menus. The controller also inputs left for no reason. Why can't Audi build xbox's.

I'd point the finger at potential heat build up. I've only used a 360 once, but feck me, that thing belches out some heat! Combine that with this time of year as well and I'm surprised more of them aren't dropping like flies....

My boss has that problem. MS suggested he try the manual eject (as PC drives have), that didn't work so he took it to bits and it just worked after that.

I think my 360 crashed once on the day I bought it and since then it's been fine, hopefully it'll continue in this way.
