It looks technical and a few parts of it are but the actual remapping/flash couldn't be easier, seriously you'll be fine if you just follow the instructions

It's really easy
download the RStuner software from Fastchip - and install on your laptop
connect the RStuner to your laptop
Also download the .rst and .cal file that matches your car type identified fromthe VIN such as CB22
Start the program - it will then install the drivers necessary automatically
Plug into to your OBD socket
Turn on the ignition (don't start the car)
press the connect icon in the RStuner program and select ok when the pop up box comes up
once connected select read ECU to back up your current ECU.
Then select read cal to back up your cal (may not need to do this but i did just incase)

If your indoubt about programing your ECU just make sure you plug your laptop in to the mains for the duration of the re-map and that you switch off the radio and heaters, A/C on your car open the windows pass your laptop through them and close the doors so there's no drain on the car battery.

the important bit (select the wrong file and it may all go wrong)

Select write ECU (just make sure that the rst file begins with the same number as the ECU you have ie 8XXX-XXXX can be programmed with a rst file that also begins with 8 the remaining numbers don't matter for the time being. It takes approx 30 to 40 minutes to write.
Once done select disconnect then unplug and hopefully start the car

Once you have installed the program if you access the help file there are instructions in there and how to make sure you select the right files you need

the worst that can happen is you put the wrong .rst file on, which is what i did and ruin the the software on the ecu so the car won't start.

Luckily paul from rs tuning fixed it for me and now i'm all up and running again.
