Im not sure yet.....maybe if a Cup/Trophy version comes out (pretty good chance I reckon!)

if they dropped the gay seats then possibly.... in about 5 years when i can insure one.
not too keen on the looks of the new one, it looks weird, still not a patch on the Cup (proper one I mean, 172) or the Trophy for looks... although I kinda like the 4 bucket seats, should never have 5 people in a clio, its just wrong. They are apparently going to be 100-200kgs heavier too... not really into that, it should have a 225bhp turbo engine if thats the case imo

Maybe, if they do it in white. But then Renault will probably not offer it in white.
If it was German or Japanese I would consider it.
the new one looks like something more in the Civic Type R type market more than a hot hatch tho from the pics, is it me or are the new generation of hot hatches getting a lot bigger? Compare the actual size of a MK1 and MK2 Clio and the MK2 looks miles bigger
... agree with you on that too Mike, white would look awesome, in fact surely more colours offered would help keep sales and residuals, dont 172s only come in silver?

they will do a cup version prolly without xenons or something + removing spare wheel, most likely be like the 182cup over the 182 slightly lower but not low enough, and only 20kg lighter with less kit maybe a silly colour and new 1kg lighter wheels.
the trophy is where its at but that wont arrive for at least another two years. the question is will the cup version use sasch dampers or will they wait until the trophy for that ?
