Anyone here with a Sony Vaio laptop?

I am trying to register mine on the Sony site but I can't find the serial number. Its meant to be on the bottom but I can't find it. Anyone with one know where it should be?

Should be on a sticker on the bottom of your laptop or if you still have the box it's on that.

its a long thin white sticker with a barcode on and 8 numbers then 7 numbers

Sadly not, its not on the bottom of the laptop and I couldn't find it on the box.

Its starting to bug me too as everytime I connect to the internet it uses all my bandwidth loading the update program (and I am on dial up so it grinds my net to a halt).

Should be on the bottom if not, try looking in the BIOS, some have it in there.
