I've had a 306 Rallye, and a Xsara (90bhp HDi).
The engine is a good one, and the Xsara body is not as sought after as the 306, so should be a good cheap fun hatch.
However, the claim of 45mpg in the ad should be taken with a wheelbarrow of salt! I struggled to see 30mpg in it, never mind 45! (And I'm getting 35mpg from my recently purchased Trophy!)
