Anyone know if the latest ipods work with Alpine iDA-X001 head unit???

As i have one, which works perfectly with my 8 gig Nano, but i want to upgrade to a bigger ipod.

Will the very latest one's worj with the head unit? or is it a case of seeing if i can pick up a slightly older one?

yea the connections are all basically the same an you should have no problem at all.
I got one of them iTouch's an it works perfectly fine with a friends alpine.
