hi all i have a clio 172 and need some codes permanently deleting

I'm based in fareham in hampshire, my car has no mot and i can't get it to pass an mot until the airbag and service lights are deleted by clip (the previous owner has fitted aftermarket seats and steering wheel), i don't have a tow bar and don't want to drive the car with no mot.

can anyone help please?

Put some tape over the light.

I thought you could drive a car to a garage to have MOT work?

Can you not put resistors in?

As mossy said, unless they’ve butchered the wiring you should be able to put some resistors in. The service light could mean the steering angle sensor is out of position too.

thank you for the replies, turned out it is the steering angle sensor, so if anyone has or knows of one for sale please let me know, I've tried everywhere even renualt and there on back order
