iceburg silver. im having my 16v sprayed in this colour, the guy said the paintcode for iceburg is 640, but he also said the plate on my car (95 1.8 16v) also had the paintcode 640? any suggestions as to why they are the same number?

You may find there are 2 shades of iceberg silver . The other codes on your plate will tell the bodyshop exactly how the shade is made up.

ie; light or dark, how diluted etc.

yeah he said there was actually bout 5 or 6 different shades of iceburg! he said they have chose the most normal shade for my car to make any future painting easier to match
