The thing is, it's going to be f00king ages before we see true 1080p stuff with any regularity. The other point is i'm willing to bet that you'd not be able to tell the difference between a 720p and a 1080p scene on a 37" screen!

You will see a difference with sport, maybe not on most things. I agree 720 is adequate for home use, but why settle for adequate? I suppose the price is quite tempting, but there are cheaper..

It can do 1080i, they just ommitted it from the page. Its on the specs.
No point really in 1080i on a 1366 x 768 panel anyway really, better off with 720p, which is what the majority of stuff runs anyway.
Thats a top set, cant fault it, esp at that price!
