hi, anyone up north with clip computer thing?

clipped a curb and bang bang
renault want £150 for the ecu + £160 labour to program it

also could you reprogram my clio to tell it that theres not side impact airbags please?

would be willing to travel a long way, as my renault wont disable side impact bags?

If you've set your airbags off you need a new computer installing before the light can be turned off.
Renault won't officaily might be worth asking a friendly mecahnic or dropping some money in there tea fund but its useless if you've set them off as a new airbag computer is needed before you can switch the light off.
Matt will help you out though with a computer and fitment etc hes up in Accrington 01254 386661

Any dealership can do it but thats not to abd try hagle them down a bit but when fuel etc is included Matt might be about the same price.
16V_jon has a clip type thingie not sure if I can reprogram airbags might be worth dropping him a PM he lives not that far up north.

If its set the air bag off then you will need a new computer , matts place have a clip but they charge about the same as a dealer unless you sweet talk them. if there is a fault with the airbag system ie 1 has gone off then you will need to fix it before it can be programmed out ie you will need to fit a new side impact sensor and airbag before you can remove the seats from the system.
if there is an airbag light on your car wont fail the MOT
what car do you have ?
