Anyone use a PhysX card? Are they any good?

Well i haven't...but....with full physx turned on, with FEAR2 and crysis warhead for example. my machine (3.2ghz q6600 8g pc8500 ram raid 0 1tb hdd and 4870x2 2048 g card) juddered all over the place. Turned it off and 60fps on FEAR no problem. Think they must have with major processing of the physics side so can only help things, although i'm not sure if i'd make the investment tbh

^^^ - exactly the reason why I want to try one. :) I'm interested to see if a small PCI card can really number-crunch that well and add to the visual effects?

new nvidia cards have it built in dont they

Yes, they do. After nVidia acquired Ageia (sp?) last year. Apparently the CUDA-based cards can support PhysX extensions.
