anyone use k-tec fast road brake kit? valver

ive been told to stay clear off the big brake kit, extra wieght with no real extra power.. im talking about the normal fast road kit fornt and rear

  Skoda Fabia vRS
get some Brembo Max discs mate and if you want the pads all they are, are EBC basic pads........can be had for half the K-Tec price or less online

personally im sticking to Ferodo for pads, tried others and there just not as good

I bought the Big brake kit with braided hoses, aswell as kevlar pads for the back. As u said, they are heavy....but my cars stopping power has been nicely improved over standard. As other people have mentioned b4, there more 4 show.

Why buy uprated pads for the back, they do that little braking, absoloutly no point in anything other than std.

Big brake kit will improve things, but its the calipers that are the weak point, its not alot more to get a complete 4 pot kit if you go to the right place, check out the group buy Northy is putting together for the wilwood 4 pots, shoudl be around £400 give or take £100 or so

Just thought I may as well get some decent pads for the back too. Did'nt really know about 4 pots at the time, so really looking back I think I should paid a bit more and gone for them over the big brake conversion, if I have the chance.

Its not very good.
It looks great behind wheels but the pads arn't that good I had total fade on track before.
The disks are more prone to cracking than normal ones.
DS2500 pads for £80 or so and normal disks, uprated braded lines ns good fluid is much better.
Or if you realy want to stop 4 pot brakes on stock disks they'll stop you like you'll never belive.

I'm still on there just don't post much just read the posts. With the Williams the way it is I'm trying not to convince myself to keep the car.
