Thanks for the email address Andy, I'm going to try and ring their tech support in a sec to see if I can get anyone helpful.

My boss keeps trying to pile issues on me, the c**t, I have no particular desire to upgrade the firmware on the Aironets or build a new Citrix cluster when I'm still not done with this :x

It should be part and parcel of the licence agreement generally. They are trying to get everyone over to Websense anyway so they should be overly helpful.

It was briefly showing up the categories, now it's not showing them at all and it's just Allowing everything.

The remote admin service is fucked too, time for a phone call..

Well the phone call went reasonably well, they think the issue lies with EUM so I'm reinstalling that software on the DCs atm.

The general list has returned and is now showing up the right categories.

However everything is being allowed because it can't talk to the DCs to differentiate between Student users, Staff and Admins

Just had to end a help session with Websense because we're getting 3kb/sec throughput, due to all of the users sat on Facebook and YouTube. My boss has said I'm not allowed to slay them.

So that's another days work ahead of me to get this working, because students can't be f**king trusted

Fixed!

Turns out installing over RDP had meant that some crucial files were placed in Documents and Settings, rather than the Windows directory. Once those files were moved over, everything works perfectly.
