Its on Eurosport (BT channel 435), all 24 hours live and I believe Quest TV (BT channel 37) are showing it too, with regular updates and live segments.
215mph+, 4 different classes, Porsche, Ferrari, Ford, Toyota, Aston Martin, Ligier etc
Constant overtaking and they cover roughly the same distance as a whole F1 season......in 1 day!! :tonguewink::smile:
Its worth a watch

Has anything interesting happened yet. Usually watch this but am on holiday the moment so no telly.

ive never watched it before, but have done this year as a fair few mates have gone over for a few days

LOL at the race director. First safety car out because a Ford GT shat gravel everywhere on purpose

Rediculous this race is 10hrs racing none stop and within 10mins it's all change!

Feel sorry to kobi especially that lap in quali was something special and to be leading from the start as well!

Not a good showing for the LMP 1 catergory.
Porsche out in the Front the nearest car being a LMP2 car in second with 10laps behind. And the Lone Toyota 23 laps behind. I think the days of LMP 1 are numbered.

I went every year 2000 to 2009.....I'm envious Mr Panda :tonguewink:
If An LMP2 car wins it would be hilarious. Toyotas budget is apparently 200 million euros!!! Should have raced 2No Prius Uber taxis

Anyone else seem enough adverts in the last 24 hours to last a lifetime ?

Sodding Eurosport !!

14 mins left.. I'm sure they'll get at least two more breaks in and we've just had one.

By a remarkable coincidence I watched the film 'Le Mans' at the weekend.

Some great historical footage, really gave a sense of the dangers that drivers back then faced - super-lightweight cars with minimal crash protection and insane power.

I thought it was a nice commentary on the combined danger and glamour of motorsport, with consideration of both sides of the coin. Worth a watch.

As for current Le Man, I've not been to a proper race event for, er, ever, and I do wonder if I'd be bored over 24 hours. F1 makes me want to slit my wrists it's so dull, but I liked early 90s BTCC, so if it's more the latter than the former, perhaps I should go one year...

Gutted for Toyota. So close.
I'll be back for next year, I've not been since 2012. Either that or N24.

You'd enjoy it, They actually overtake each other ;) Plus you have the advantage of going for a beer or something to eat, them come back to it at a different viewing spot. Unlike F1 where its all intense for 1.5-2 hours. :)Value for money I don't think Le Mans can be beaten

Go to a meet with Caterham`s.
They usually cross the finish line 4 abreast, having swapped places for the entire race, corner by corner.

Rebellion got disqualified because of their awesome starter motor hole in the bodywork. Shitter
