Apex springs "150-4051 apex springs 40 mm"

  Nimbus Grey 197
Anyone know anything about these, or have these.

I want to fit them to my 182, which at present doesnt have cup suspension so the ride height is quite high, please let me know if anyone has used these and how they feel/look etc

many thanks

Woza.

they look great when on the car....

however if you like driving your car, i would seriously avoid fitting them. They are harsh, buncy, and will ruin the handling of your car.

I had them for a month before i had enough!

Eibach Sportlines are your answer... fantastic springs but dont expect them to lower as much as the apex.

Can't echo fUbAr enough, don't get Apex. They do look great on the car. But I ran with them on my 172 for about 12 months, wouldn't have said they ruined the handling of the car but they didn't do it any favours. Not the most comfortable is an understatement.

Only thing they're good for is for dropping it on it's ass for not a lot of £££. Not really a performance enhancing mod...

im not looking to increase performance but at the same time i dont want it to ruin the performance.

do they just make the ride stiffer?

i did a search on the forum and the majority seemed to be singing their praises....

They're alright to be honest - you get what you pay for. Not as good as sportlines, but then they are about £50 cheaper than eibach's offering. Not as good as coilovers, but then they only cost 1/5th of the price!

Depends what your main concert is I guess. Looks or ride quality :)

i dont really want to be bumping all over the road, i think the ride as it is is kinda harsh!

aaaggghhhh i dont know what to do!
