are alarms covered by warranty??

hi
i have just dropped my 182 into my local dealer for an alarm problem,it goes off all the time for no reason and cannot reset itself i get a constant long beeping when i try

i know they are going to try and stitch me for repairs or new alarm etc,they tried it before cos i didnt buy the car from them

just wondered if anyone knew for sure is it covered under the 3 year warranty??
