I'm not sure about the rest of you but I like seeing other clio sports around and always give them a friendly wave. I like the fact that there are not many around and think we should acknowledge each other, am I being soft or does anyone else think the same?

I do it, as it's unlikely someone who buys an RS won't have an interest in other RS's not like you'd accidently pay the 5k extra for an RS by mistake.

When I passed my driving test, my first car was a saab 96 V4, everyone waved in that. Not many around then (1990 !!) and even fewer now.

Yes, but I must admit the MK1 172 people tend to notice when I give them a wee nod. I've acknowledged hundreds of MK2 Renaultsport Clios yet not once have I been "Spotted" ?

Im the same, usually only give them a flash and a thumbs up, especially if theres a CS sticker in view

When I see another vee on the road I give them the nod etc & they do the same. I did the same when I had the valver & my coupe 20vt.

If I had a common car I wouldn't bother.

I can understand that, don't think I have ever seen a v6 on the road come to think of it. I suppose it depends on how you classify 'rare'. As I don't see many sports about I like to aknowledge it, as If they were more common I might not...

I wave or flash if people do it to me first, as the one or 2 times I've waved first I've just got odd looks. Obviously if I know them I will.
