Assassin's Creed 3

Completed the second one last night..well the storyline anyway. Still got a few viewpoints to find and a few of the side missions. Also not bought a single painting and have every sword and dagger and pretty much nothing else (weapon wise).

Have Brotherhood, Revelations and AC3 piled up next to my 360 ready to go, I've been reading up and apparently Brotherhood is the best of the entire series of games so fun times ahead.

Not at all, Assassins Creed 2 is far better. If it weren't for the story, I'd just say skip both entirely and go to AC3.

Both Brotherhood and Revalations were developed with keeping it 'same' in mind. They're linear gap fillers.

Still playing it now, doing most of the Homestead / naval missions at the moment and leaving the story till last. It's a shame the bugs and performance issues let it down so hard on console, it's probably one of the best games ever TBH.

I was itching to go straight to AC3 anyway and decided I would do tonight.
How much do the bugs and performance affect the game?

Started this last week, fairly impressed so far. Still playing as the kid and just learnt about lowering Notoriety. Come across a few bugs so far but a few of the missions have been very enjoyable (the sneak mission disabling the cannons was fantastic). Keep getting killed by wolves though, meh.

I don't know how you are getting killed by wolves? There is a prompt and buttons to press. Pretty hard to miss really? The same with cougars and bears.

Just finished the main story now. Very good I think. Wonder if there will be any more?

Got lots of side missions to do, think it will take quite a while. Certainly value for money in these games.

Oh. The end credits last for f**king ages!

Found time to complete this last night. Without giving away any spoilers, I was massively disappointed to see over 20 hours wasted in the last 40 minutes in what seemed a rushed and unimaginative ending. It's not even entirely clear what you have to do or where you have to go in the last few moments. Big shame as this game has so much to offer, sometimes a little too much. Just seems they ran out of time.
