aston martin paint, soft? hard?

anyone detailed any astons before? aiming this at the trading detailers amongst you! have been asked to give the db7 a going over and it is in a fooking state big time. if it is hard paint it will take me best part of 2/3 days

If makes any difference, i went on a factory tour once and they said they put more layers of paint on the cars than any other manufacturer....
