AT Power Throttle Boddies



They were going to be the next big white hope on the tuning scene, but maybe all the hype was a bit optomistic. What's the story on them danny?Did they ever get into production, or was it just another Ben R type pipe dream? lol

I saw a number of people inc ^^ that raved about them before testing. now your saying they are equal to the other brands. Do you work for them sideways danny? Whats going on with them then? I was hoping to see good out come because they looked smart at autosport this year. Were you working there? It may of been you i spoke too.

Dnt quote me, Ben will confirm, these were original going on my motor, but ben wasnt happy with the results, so they were removed again.

i dont know tbh, await for someone in the know to say. I just want to see a product that works well and look as good as they do. If not give it 6 months and ill plump for the same set up as mini valver i think.

The AT bodies were never finished properly by the guy that commissioned the,, companies got greedy and tried to rush things, low and behold, they made no more power. Even though all the "fugly" pople were raving about the "GDI f**k me in the ass ITB's"....

The AT bodies were never finished properly by the guy that commissioned the,, companies got greedy and tried to rush things, low and behold, they made no more power. Even though all the "fugly" pople were raving about the "GDI f**k me in the ass ITB's"....

they were finished, they wernt comissioned by benR, they were designed on the ford ztec engines and just needed the back plate made to fit a clio, so where all this benR stuff came from i have no idea.

as for the 7% thats the gains that were seen on the ford engines so thats where that came from, i did want some in pink, i still would tbh as pink wins over anything else lol

but GDI are back to using jenvy so thats who i go with if i ever get bodies.

Yeah i think jenvey have kind of got a good reputation considering all the toring cars use them. Stick to what you know is what i say!

they look great off the car imo, and with short trumpets they look good, but with the ones that look like 4 penis' sticking out of the front, just looks a bit wrong...

dont miss quote me haha A class is not something i would say.

as for pink... spray paint?

im not Jesus, so if you all want a GDI vs AWT argument your going to be dissapointed,

when we thought they were going to be 7% more powerful of course i liked the sound of that... unfortunately that was not to be. so meh move back to the trusted jenveys

The AT work very well on the Zetec engines, and give good gains.

They for some reason dont seem to work with the F4R engine. I had them on mine at first, and they worked well till higher rpm, where for some reason they just couldnt get enough air in, so it was strangling the engine.

Different sized trumpets where tried, with little gain. It was decided with my car to just run a set of Jenveys, as they are tried and tested and work well with the F4R.

The 7% gain as far as i am aware was done on a flow bench, and was compared to an equal size Jenvey body. It was specific to a clio engine. This was the info AT Power were giving out, hence why people were quoting it. No reason to think otherwise really??

Anyways, as it stands, not sure whether more development work is happening with the AT's for the F4R, or whether the tried and tested Jenveys will be used ever more.
