Auto dimming mirror?

Hi,
Just wondered could you fit one in a 182? The wife has one in the mini and looking at them on eBay, they aren't much to buy.

I did think the other day when driving home from work, I wish I had one like my old Golf when some tw*t behind me had full beam on.

This one plugs into the cigarette lighter, £60 delivered though.

Definately a good lazy man option!! I was thinking of hard wiring a BMW or vauxhall mirror in. Should only be 2 wires. I'm guessing pos and neg?

Flicking it up and down when people have their full beams on is fun though. Means they get flashing in their eyes.

- There are occasions it won't dip. Like at dusk where there is too much background light for it to pick up the dazzling lights from behind.

There is a reverse one as well as when you reverse, the function stops working

Sounds like a good idea, although some reverse lights that came on with a flick of a switch, and are super bright to dazzle the t**t behind after they flash their lights after you do a perfectly safe and legitimate overtake would be fantastic
