Some imports have this ability. I'm not sure if some looms have been mixed up in the past it wouln't suprise me I'm sure at least one or two UK cars have the wrong looms fitted.al said:Yes you can, gaz's (gazeratti) 172 does it.

polarbert said:He was talking about the 182 though, which you can't.
al said:Same car. I'm sure the manifold change doesn't affect the windows :S
polarbert said:Nope it is actually different.
al said:How???
polarbert said:Erm because the 172 and 182 are different cars. The 182 has different wheels, exhaust coming out the rear bumper, different colours. 182s are newer.
And some 172s came with both passenger and driver auto windows, whereas the 182 didn't.
Thought you would have known they were different cars.

You dont.
blaze said:Neither 172 came with both windows automated/one touch. Sorry. It's all about getting the best value/profit.
Just to clear this up as I don't understand what either of you are on about.blaze said:NONE allow one touch on both sides.
You have to be the most arguementative person alive. No, you have not seen, experienced all these cars where they have one touch on both sides.
Numpty, given you the oportunity to PM, yet no answers.
All cars whether UK or EURO have the one touch to do one function, and one function only.
Have you guessed yet??????
It's to allow the easy access to the toll booths throughout Europe. Therefore non UK spec. cars, built on EU variants will be not be any different.
My proof is the Renault manauls have details showing the wiring switches differences in there repair manual. Also the UCH computer (which is under the dash) has the option in it to control twin one switching its switches off unless you have the different looms and switches fitted as it doesn't workin without the looms.blaze said:No sense and a cheap manufacturing processes would not seem to allow it. Door locks on the passenger side make any sense on UK cars????. Wipers that are universal?.
You seem a top up guy yet where is your proof. Standards of EU/Renault cars would indicate otherwise.

Why do you think there are auto headlights????
It's a legal requirement throughout most of the EU.
Go through a tunnel and it is mandatory to use headlights. It's not an option to show a lack of knowledge, or better xenon lights!!!!!!.
ERGO numpty
The option of a PM is open. You choose the daft direct option. No RS has had the one touch option on both windows. If it did then the best is a cut and shut job. I mean afteralll, why would they? Other manufacturers don't??
PM me and I will respond.
