My first Clio's door wasn't aligned properly, i had to get them to re-hang it.

Would never buy this car, not just for the reason it feels like it has a big delay in throttle response. On daily drives my 182 is so easy to live with, just whack it in 5th and you can cruise at 30-40 mph comfortably and get big mpg.

Ok in honesty- mine has not moved since the beginning of the December, battery is charging now though.

197 definitely looks best in Racing Blue though, pretty sure of that, looks nice in the pictures. Shame the mpg is down having to pull the obesity around, and that the engine's are a little anaemic.

Hardly a harsh post, you're just too defensive over the car, simple. Maybe i'll look at one in the next 2 years, should of depreciated nicely like all Renaults do, having said that there are better cars for the money tbh.

i don't really think my posts are unjustified. with all the ill feeling going round bout the 197 and nasty name calling i think it is only fair to stand up and be counted.

i think if i started a 172 thread i'd get quite a few defensive chav chariot owners comnig in to the fold so i don't see what the problem is with me defending what i bleive is a better car to the 182.

like i have said many times it is all down to personal prefernece. but when the banter starts i'm always there ready to give it back too!

I went to the local dealer yesterday and saw a blue 197..... oh my word thats a sexy car... now i have had my 172 for 1 month and 1 day and i LOVE it.... :rasp: its fast comfy has leather interior.. bah bah bah i am impressed and im happy with it, give it 3/4 years of 172 love i think i would look at the 197.... :rasp:

I could go down the Renault dealers tomorrow and buy a 197 outright but choose not to as I have better things to spend my money on like my house.
