  Whichever has fuel
When the car is moving at 10mph or so, push and hold the central locking button for about 5 seconds. It will beep twice to say its back on.

Use your manual, that's what it's there for ;)

Just turn the ignition and hold the lock button on the dash down till it beeps.

do i take the same process so that the car locks automatically when parked up

I need help with this one. I have auto lock enabled and a couple times when I stop the car and get out it's locked itself. I don't trust it because it doesn't always do it.

So should it auto lock once engine is stopped and I'm out of the car after a set amount of time?

The car shouldn't lock it's self when parked up, why the hell would anyone want it to do that.

There is a function along these lines, but not auto locking - if you unlock the car, but do not open the doors etc, it will relock itself within 2 mins or so IIRC

yeah that makes sense, so if you accidently press the key fob when walking off the car doesn't stay open.

Shouldn't lock itself after you've had the engine running. As said though if you unlock it then don't open any doors or anything it'll lock itself again.

Some aftermarket alarms have last door arming, I never switch it on though as it can cause too much trouble with lock outs.
