Auto Wipers Sensor

my automatic rain sensitive wipers have stopped working. basically when it rains it doesnt get picked up so the wipers dont come on unless i put them on full which is annoying if the rain is light.
ive had my windscreen replaced about 2months ago.
could this be the problem ?
and if so would the warranty cover it ?

Apparently when you have the windscreen replaced then you need a new gel pack in the sensor, did it have one done ?

I'd probably just take it back under warrenty and say its not working if it hasn't.

This happened to me when I needed a new windscreen.Auotglass came back and sorted it-The guy told me he used KY Jelly-Seriously!!!-Anyway it's been fine for a year.

Ah, is that what causes the auto wipers to be crap? Mine have to be on the most sensitive setting and they still don't go until I can't see.
