Has anyone used these? There are several different ones on the market but obviously Autoglym should be the best at £5, what is the finish like and are they worth purchasing or do they just smudge the droppings?
They leave a slight clear film from the wipe even when you clean the bird muck up, but its better than having it burn through the clear coat of the car!
+1 jimbo666-> I always have a bottle of Quik Detailer and a clean microfiber towel in a plastic bag at the back of the car... so it can come to the rescue as soon as big bird flew over and dropped his load..
You should NEVER rub a bird dropping off. Birds eat grit to help with digestion. Rubbing the affected area will basically rub grit across your paintwork. The best thing to do is get a hose to it. If that's not possible, get a glass/mug/jug of water and throw it at the area to remove as much of it as possible.
