Aux belt / Cambelt?

  RB 200 Cup!
Ive got to have my aux belt done next month as my baby will be 4 years old but just wondering if it would be easier to have the cambelt done at the same time? Cars only done 23k miles tho.

Opinions please

The cambelt needs done at 5years or 70k tho I wouldn't leave it till that many miles! Up to you! They're expensive to replace, but will cost you a fortune if it snaps!

well my mates gonna do all the work cash in hand for me (hes a reno tech) so will get it done dirt cheap just wondering if its essential

Might as well get it done to be safe as its only a year early. Doesn't the aux belt have to be re-done anyway with the cambelt? Would be cheaper in the long run.

Please be aware that the reason the belts are done at 72k or 5 years is because the belts can deteriorate with age so if the car is 5 years old I would get the cambelt done as well.

it would be ideal to do them both together mate

it'd be silly to pay the guy twice for the sake of it, it's only another hour's work or so

nightmare though, i did mine on my Ph1... it took me 6 hours. lol
