Auxilary belt change

(Also known as the accessory belt, I believe)

When did everyone have it changed on their RS Clio?

I have been informed by two reliable (I think!) sources that this should be done on the 36k service. But is sometimes not because Renault get confused with non-RS Clio's that do not require the auxilary belt changed until 5yrs/72k service.

I have just found out my car did not have its auxilary belt changed on 36k when it was serviced by Renault for the previous owner. I'm now on 46k....eeek!

Gonna get this sorted pronto. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this, and maybe give others a heads up too!

Personally Im gonna change mine yearly from now on, last one almost snapped!
For the price of a belt its worth it imo. Every 36k should be sufficient tho

Not what I want to hear! I went out and thrashed the car over 120 miles on Sunday....

Its booked in at Rentec soon, cambelt change while they're at it. Fortunately its a little cheaper as its a Cup - the joys of no air con! :D
