Awful washer jets

do I need to do much replumbing to loose the headlight washer jets?

basically my windscreen washers were always rubbish, as in had to hold for a second or two before any water came out, now I get nothing at all!!

so I'm blaming the headlight washers, unless anyone has any tips or tricks or common faults for me? a quick forum search doesn't prove accurate enough to find a useful thread

Get a new pump, only cost about £10 from ecp.

Mine started getting worse then it finally broke on my 1.2 and I got a new one which was much better. The windscreen and headlight washers are on two different pumps so they won't be affecting each other

Does sound like the pump, mine did exactly that, then completely stopped working like you say. I had to replace the full pump, quite expensive iirc, used genuine renault part around £48. Also a mess on swapping it over, a mate had to do mine for me.

As you don't have washer jets for xenons it's a 10 min job, no need to take wipers off if you have small hands!

Of only i knew at the time, suppose at least i have a renault invoice for a genuine part, il get the money back if i ever sell the car haha.

Mr Sheridan-Wallis performed a great trick on my headlight washers. Remove pipe from one nozzle, attach pipe from second nozzle to first nozzle. No headlight washers, but no leaks!

I've contacted ECP and I hope they'll take it back as in all fairness I didn't just follow the link, I put my reg in and searched for the part as well as I thought that would do as a 'check' but seems not!

As always. When I got mine for my old car, I took my broken one in with me and as soon as I got the new one I took it out the box to ensure it was correct haha!
