Back in the driving seat , p1 172

Hi All, I'm Danny I just bought myself a phase 1 clio 172 . I used to own a phase 2, about 8 years ago. Since then I have been missing something in my life and had to have it back again .
So with the help of my trusty mate Sid we scouted out a nice new project for me . Thanks clingo172 , as it use to be his little road eater .

So happy I have found a nice p1 as over last few weeks have seen to many shitter, none form the fourm, EBay and autotrader.

Will post a few pics later.

Already had a little wipe about town and it's put the smile back on my face , got to love a clio sport.

Yeah it's not to bad little dent on the door and wing . But apart for that looks good.

Yes, my paint (Iceberg 640) is pretty thin, and well patchy on several areas
Silvers look nice in the rain
Mines a Y reg
nice to see the spotlights still there

Going to try and keep it as standard as possible, no track car planned here. Fast road standard is my aim . Maybe paint the wheels tart up the engine bay. Little mods maybe ph2 rear lights.

Took me a while to realise i have ph2 rear lights. Ha!
Dont blame you for keeping standard, mines too battered to look decent, so back seats r out, and cage footplates welded in soon.
Other than that, not much more else i am doing
Will keep an eye on how you get on.

New plates are In need as they are a bad, so that's the first stop. Just need to find a nice set of used rear ph2 lights .
