Car  PH1 172
Hello folks, just a quick hello to everyone again as having been on here in the past when I had my PH1 172 and PH2 Monaco (which were bought from members on here) I have now bought a Inferno PH2 172 with a load of history which was owned from new by a Renault employee.

Haven't had much a chance to get out a blast in it yet but hopefully will get out at the weekend a run. Will also try and get some pics up in the next wee while.

Welcome back.
Inferno? I think you probably mean Flame Red, that's the only red colour 172's came in.

Finally have a few updates car drives really well although tyres are on their way out so need to get some (thinking Rainsports of Avons since PS3's are like hens teeth just now)

I decided to get in about properly at the rear arches as there was a small onset of rust, needless to say once I stripped off the old underseal and gunk it became apparent it was probably beyond my welding skills....both rears were not great although by no means past the point of saving and the jacking point on one side had been bent in and filled/clarted (once this was cleaned off it was clear it needed patched too)

After it being with my mate a few months I got the car back last week and am chuffed with the results but it was a fair effort.
