backbox

to remove a backbox from a 1.4 16v ph1, do i need to cut it? i tried but no luck! any help will be great! thanks!

I doubt it. Unless they weld it up on the car

lol i fort the same! it just seems to be stuck lol.. i wasn't sure if the rear bumper would need to come off.

Should just just be a matter of undoing bolts :S

what is stuck exactly? If it really wont budge, then last resort is angle grinder.

i can get it detatched fom the centre section but not out over the rear beam.

drop the rear axle then if its welded to the backbox, if not just splice the section on the back box and try tapping it off, if not heat it up,

You need to twist the back box. Its a bit fiddly but a monkey would manage...
