Any one else get this from the left N/S front wheel when pulling away sharpish sometimes ? Sounds like the wheel bouncing rather than spinning.

get that quite frequently - particularly in the wet. Not quite sure what it is though??? Sorry I cant help.

Mine is worse in the wet too. Got it booked in at reno in a couple of weeks. Asked them to check engine mounts.

think most people concur thats its axle tramp or engine mounts.........

paddymph - mines in for its 10k service this friday. Ive got a bit of a list of the usual things for the dealer to have a look at - is this something that they should be able to fix??? or is it just a problem that isnt the end of the world and ill just turn the stereo up a bit more with??

In Australia they suggest a 10,000 km service.

thats a checkup, not really a service and I thought it was 5000km

The gearbox has an attachment point below the battery and the bolt often needs tightening. That usually fixes at least one clonking noise.
