I tried, purchased two codes to allow me to play and failed! PS5 is linked to an EA account from at least 15 years ago. Cant unlink it, no obvious place to enter codes to play. Gave up and went straight back to WZ. I am having another go setting up a new EA account and trying to patch that to my PS account again today. But so far it’s bloody hopeless and unnecessarily complecated

I’m 3080/5800x3d.

Getting around 70-85 frames at 4k depending on what’s going on. I haven’t turned too much down on the graphics though. It’s absolutely playable.

I do plan on buying the full game so I’ll be buying a 5080 soon.

Around 100 is playable for me for a competitive game that I’m not taking to serious so this is encouraging, ta.

i can confirm that the settings needs a lot of work, very fustrating navigating it

What’s the go to Xbox controller? Not interested in paddles. This one’s ok but there’s just too much stick drift and the tracking is so inconsistent, think it’s from last generations Xbox.

Just get something with Hall effect sticks. Plenty of them to choose from.

Ive only been looking at the recon one where you need to spot 300 people to unlock the ghillie skin.
I spent a full game of breakthrough as recon and it said I marked 2 people... So something is bugged there.

Was just looking at 5080 as they are semi reasonably priced…. However just searching around I might well wait a few months to see if the 5080 ti/super arrives

The small maps are best for this challenge. Throw the motion sensor down next to an objective and watch those "spots" ramp up. I got 200 in 1 match.

I'm still on my 2 original controllers that came with the box and both have 0 stick drift. yeah thats what i did i put a motion sensor down on each point or on a busy traffic lane or another thing you do i just use a recon class gun and just aim down sight on an ememy and that will give you a automatic spot too

I’ve almost got the settings down, it took a lot of tweaking to get it to how I like it and I think I’ve had to totally unbind one or 2 actions but hopefully I’ll not need them as much. For the chopper I’ve had to pretty much make my own custom buttons for it which was annoying but feels better. Sensitivity still seems a bit off. In close quarters it’s ideal but tracking at distance with a high sensitivity is less than ideal. I’m sure there’s a balance in there somewhere but haven’t quite found it yet. Could just be that I’m still getting used to a controller on a fps game I suppose.

Not really, PITA to use PS controllers on PC. I think the Xbox ones feel better as well.

Saw Jack Frags video just now, some bigger maps open maps for tanks , compass on the map, better physics for the tank and helicopter or same like bf4, he mentions about time to kill and time to death, some deaths are instant on the carbine , Assault rifle, . I think the glint should stay as it is and not need toning down



played a fair few hours on the beta and I actually like it, the maps are great and flows really well, loads of squad play on this and loads of reviving , definitely more team work for this game and less one man army

I’ve been changing my settings yet again, dome gone back to standard , the setting will no doubt change when the game releases so I;ll be starting from scratch or record my settings so I know for next time and mirror that

so whose already pre ordered the game ?

Feel like I got my settings pretty dialed in already tbh. Barely touched the vehicles but recoil and aim has been pretty easy to jump from COD. Funny I accidentally jumped out a tank in a terrible position and managed to hit 2 up close instant no scopes with a bit of luck (but I think the settings helped somewhat).

It's more the gameplay itself which takes adjusting I spent a lot of time not really understanding the classes very well and kept running out of bullets with the assault class. Running with the support class but with an AR feels much better but I'm probably still not utilising the classes and 'perks' properly tbh as I prefer to actually play the game rather than spend time in the horrible UI. I'm just going with the figure it out as I go along method lol.

Also I wish I could move the mini map to top left. I'm so accustomed to COD I'm having to actually think to check the map whereas it's just automatic in COD at this point.

If they come out with a solid BR which I'm not sure is confirmed or just rumour then that's very exciting imo.

In what mode? This is the list of modes that are apparently available although I'm pretty sure the only modes I've seen on my menu is Breakthrough, Conquest, Domination and King of the Hill.

The amount of anti air lock ons is insane ln that map, anti air vehicle and getting taken down by stinger missies. Half the time when im in the helicopter there’s no gunner just me. Some people don’t bother as you don’t stay in the air for that long plus myself and other streamers say it doesn’t handle great, I been saying that since Thursday. Bring back thermal and tv missle and tow missle and more ammo as pilot and better handling like BF4 I’ll be happy.

The gunner has little a gun and has a secondary air to land missle for destroying tanks and that. I’m sure they’ll be more options what you want like in the game. At first I was activating the flares as was hearing the lock on noise but it was my gunner living in to air ground vehicle, that will need getting use to

Played a few hours yesterday and an hour or so this morning.

For me, it's not great. Feels so fast and the TTK is insane. It feels more COD than Battlefield. A toned down 2042.

Run and gun in small sized maps (for battlefield).

Few good things, but overall not what I was hoping for.

I feel like the small maps have been used for the BETA on purpose to get COD people interested. Then on release we'll get some more open ones.

I hope so anyway, getting fed up of the Cairo one. 😆

A lot of those claiming is too COD-like use that as an excuse for getting smashed. This the case here?

I played a couple of matches this morning on the small maps and really enjoyed it (again).

We got absolutely smashed in a few games last night but I still enjoyed it.

Grenades don't do much damage.
RPG into a crowd of enemies... Nothing.
Some of the weapon recoil is mental but just needs the right attachments further down the I imagine.
Some seem to do very little damage yet I seem to get murdered by some others.
