I played a couple of matches this morning on the small maps and really enjoyed it (again).

Maybe it's age (mid 30's) and I'm just slowing down. 😂

What I can say is I still play BF5 and actually enjoy it. Where as Bf6 - if you see me first, I'm dead. And if I see you first you're dead.

It's too arcade feeling for me. But if you enjoy it, carry on.

The tank crosshairs seem a bit buggy. Occasionally the shells will hit where the dotted crosshair is, other times it’ll hit in the middle of where the lines are. Other times the dot & lines just go in separate directions 😂

Backing out and joining games as parties seems a little bit hit and miss too.

Yeah I saw Jack Frags video yesterday with him using it so I had a fair few games using it and it’s very good, reminds me of MW2 bs k in the day with the SPAS-12. One shot kill and has a decent range too. Just a minute nerf though,

Anyone finding the settings a bit buggy, I have my helicopter as up is up and down is down but for some reason a couple times past few days when jumping in the pilot seat the helicopter has it the other way up is down and down is up. Looked in the settings and it’s as it should be, the gunner is fine just the pilot

I’m going to get the game for sure, look forward to next weekend

The game will be super stable by then. I'll have approximately 116 unlocks to 'unlock' and the game servers will be empty. All bar the one map that's about as big a someone's back yard with 128 players in it.

We got absolutely smashed in a few games last night but I still enjoyed it.

Grenades don't do much damage.
RPG into a crowd of enemies... Nothing.
Some of the weapon recoil is mental but just needs the right attachments further down the I imagine.
Some seem to do very little damage yet I seem to get murdered by some others.

The rpg is absolutely useless.

With RPGs make sure you hit the back of vehicles. Does a hell of a lot more damage.

Flying the chopper properly is solid. Never struggled on previous battlefields. Thought the settings I used were good but they’re absolutely not.

I've not touched the settings but only jumped in the 1 Helicopter and proceeded to crash it immediately. Would be nice if there was a mode to learn the controls but tbh I rarely use the vehicles in BF other than to get to an objective faster or occasionally jump on a tank as a gunner.

I can't even drive the tank, aim and shoot without stopping one of those movements. Then I get tank busted by C4 when I'm trying to figure out what finger is supposed to be doing what 😂

You need a decent tank tbh. Can’t remember the name, but the one with 12 shells as primary and 1 guided as secondary is the best.

I feel like the small maps have been used for the BETA on purpose to get COD people interested. Then on release we'll get some more open ones.

I hope so anyway, getting fed up of the Cairo one. 😆

I think you might be correct with that assumption.
The 3 maps available are very close quaters compared to the last beta's I've experienced (BF3 and BF4), unless my perspective has been warped by nostalgia 😅.
It will be interesting what that Manhattan/NY map will be like. Don't have my hopes up.
The gameplay seems alot more run and gun than I'd like (makes shotguns fun!). But again, that might be massively influenced by the maps available.
I am someone that enjoys gameplay that feels heavy and has a wider scale with vehicles. Maybe the battle royale mode might help my desires(?).
For transparency. The last COD I played/owned was blackops 1 and the last battlefield was BF1.

No, just in the the actual game. There is a Firing Range where you can just just tryout guns and a little bit of room the run and move about. It would be awesome if there will be a Test Range like in BF4 to test out land, air and sea vehicles and also guns plus go through the option settlings while your still in the Test Range .

I need to adjust the vehicle settings myself still , the solider setting is almost done I think

Remember BF4 having that sandbox area where you could map with all sorts of kit. Seems like they should be including that once again.

People are expecting too much from a beta. This is literally a play test. You can't expect them to give everyone "test vehicles maps" or perfect controls etc.

With over half a million folks playing this (on Steam alone) on Saturday at the same time, I think shows that the recipe is there for a really good BF game.

It does make it entertaining!
Some memorable moments in BF3 seeing fireballs at the beginning of matches. All because a novice pilots in little birds performing instant inversions upon lift off

I've done a video with qiut a bit Attack Helicopter gameplay, and i've just done a video just on the Shotgun, Sandy Ravage style lol. Those are on the way. i'm on BF4 now and i thought the inverted was turned off but in fact when i'm flying o nbf4 up is down and down is up, so infact i have inverted enabled lol. I don't think the explanation of each setting is easy to understand

Some of you might know about this setting, it’s been mentioned on a few streamers settings guides, but some are using it and some aren’t . Seen a Reddit post on about this, saying it should be at 0 , should be at 133 , should be at 178 due to the fact it’s for a 16:9 monitor screen.

It’s for the Zoom Coefficient Sensitivity setting or something .

I just tried Tacticalbrit and ExclusiveAce settings and tbh both were wildly different but I settled with Tacticalbrits for now seen as that was the second option and I didn't feel the need to go back. Plus it seems like Tacticalbrit has plenty of BF experience so he's more familiar with the settings. I'll probably make tweaks on the fly but I'm pretty happy with how it feels at the minute.
