What sets different ones of these apart?

Looking at PH and C&C, it looks like values vary massively. I'm no fast/classic Ford fan, so what's the different in value between a Mk1 Mexico, RS 2000 etc.

Also, the advert is properly s**t for the sale of such a car - call if you'd like to know more? How about you just put some f**king info in the description, at least some basics. Decent whole car shot or two wouldn't be bad either.

Jesus the guy I bought the mini off has a original Mexico 1.6 in his garage. Never seen the wet, everything on it is ford, even has a ford branded cam and fan belt. I hate to think what that is worth....

1970 ford introduced the RS1600 BDA and started winning rallies left right and centre. For rallying fans the rest is history !
Just google RS1600 BDA and have a look how important this car was for ford on a competitive level

I would have thought they are appreciating faster than the interest rate you can get in bank? A similar car sold at auction in 2013 for 30k, and someone has already bid over 40k for that, 30% increase in 2 years? maybe property was a bad example....

This rs1600 bda is a more collectable car than a mexico or rs2000 as the current 40k plus bid shows, ive never seen this engine/ car before and i was in the rs owners club at age 18, ive been in a rs2000 mk1 built by janspeed and a 3.1 rs capri but these rs1600 bda cars never come out. Many of these ford rs cars are death traps as ford stopped making the body shells a long while ago and to be honest they were pretty poor handling cars anyway.
