Focus ST3 + proper Mini
Had to take a trip to the local tyre place today after managing to get 2 punctures. both on the passenger side!!
I seem to of manged to get a nail stuck in the rear tyre, luckly this was repairable. but the front tyre was past it. The inner tyre wall had completely gone to dust. Annoying thing was that it had loads of tread left as the car has only done 6.5k miles.
I had the tracking checked aswell as the tyre was showing wearing on the outside edge.
I must of pulled the short straw as I got the newbie at the garage. When I drove the car away from the garage it was pulling worse than it went in and the steering wheel was on the piss!! turns out my car was only the second hed ever done.. Got this redone by the manager and alls well.
The garage had no direct replacement tyres, so Ive had to get a 195/45/16 Y rating tyre instead of V rating, to replace the spare. I take it this well be ok??
