bent subframe??



bought my 172 last week and noticed that it pulls to the right when accelerating and when turning into a right hander it turns the falls in to the corner,
so went and got i checked out and decided to replace the top mount and bearing on the passenger side this is where i ran into trouble, it had a new spring on but didnt even need a spring compresser to remove the spring which was odd as the car isnt lowered. also i have noticed the strut top seems to sit higher than the other side and iam begining to think its had a shock and a spring off a lower model?
anyway put all back together and it was no longer knocking but still pulling to the right.
had another look and after a quick clean down noticed the front subframe had a crease in it on the passenger side ! not massive but then i dont think it would need to be to make a difference.

anyway i didnt pay alot for the car, its low mileage, good condition, nice wheels interior ect and actually like it a lot more than i thought a would ( except for the problem with it !) what is the going rate for a front subframe for one of these?
if its to much i will just sell the car on spares or repair and maybe buy a cup sport instead.

sorry but lol at "good condition" with a bent subframe!!

thats been in some kind of accident to warrant the suspension mismatch and damage, and whats worse is it wasnt properly fixed!!

id personally go over the entire suspension with a fine tooth comb and replace everything perishable!
 
yeah haha actually i meant bodywise.
the car is a cat c and i got it really cheap so iam not to dissapointed.
just had a browse on ebay and seen loads of subframes for around £100 which is good news as i dont mind putting a few hundered into fixing it.
is it the same subframe as any clio or has it got to be a sport as i will go round some breakers tommorrow
