Best company to re-new my insurance with?

Right ive been driving under my mums insurance policy with CIS, but the re-newal quote has come through and its a stupid amount!

I am 18, been driving for 1 year, and have no no-claims as i was a named driver, and my car is a slightly modded MK1 RSi...

So who are the "younger" drivers with larger engined, or modded cars insured with?

Any help is appreciated

Got a stupid price for me alone on Jain's V6 - stupid, as in good! Bell Direct came in at circa £600, which is part of the Admiral Group, iirc. Mind you, I am an old fart at 31 - I don't think I can remember back to when I was 18!

Currently with Sainsbury's Bank Online. They were by far the cheapest on my standard 182.

hey, im 17 of a 1.6 mk2 ph2 clio standard and im paying 1600 on my parents insurance with churchill, i recon thats still too much though. 2000 on my own with them cuz i got pass plus too.
