Im in need of a new desktop pc ( not a mac), wheres the best place to be looking for one ?

I use it for quite alot of gaming so needs to be a decent up-to-date spec as the only reason why i am upgrading is because my pc isnt able to run the size of games that are now coming out.

Budget is about £300-£400. ( if thats possible for a half decent gaming pc)

I dont need a monitor or anything else so its just the tower i need.

Build one yourself, you'll get so much more for your money.

Get the parts from ebuyer.com and/or overclockers uk.

It really is very easy to build a PC and will mean you can get decent internals that you want, especially if its gonna be used for gaming. There are loads and loads of guides on the net and I'm sure people on here would be more than happy to help if you get a problem. It really is as simple as plugging X into socket Y etc.

Easy to build tonksy! you get the bits and i'll build you one

That's the problem, I don't have a clue what's what when it comes to pc's. Be better if I gave u a budget and if possible u buy and build it for me ?

Try Overclockers UK. Some give it a bad rep, but I've had nothing but top service from them. I bought one of their PCs in December 2009 and since I've had no problem with it.

What games will you be playing? Maybe an i5 and a GTX2** would do you... Unless you're bothered about DX11.

I'm running my OS on an SSD (they're being sold cheap on eBuyer atm), which improves boot times, but to be fair I did a fresh install of Win7 x64 on a normal SATA and it was still pretty fast.
