Best Graphics?

Difficult one. Guy at work says Far Cry 2.

Gran Turismo Prologue? Until GT5 comes out anyway The cars are uber smooth, the shading and lighting is spot on, and the cockpits move fluidly and realisticly. My thought anyway

Hmm, it was pretty much open to them all.

I mean, I consider COD MW2 to be pretty neat, but then the characters and animations still look "computerised". I can't think of many games that look "real", which is surely what most games are aiming towards, graphically.

GT5 is looking grand, I have to say.

GT5 looks great in replays/stills but I'm not convinced in game in motion.

I've not actually seen it properly yet but I'd imagine uncharted 2 will be up there.

I remember being impressed by the water effects on Bioshock when it came out although probably doesn't look as impressive now.

will be something PC based for sure, but console wise i'd say mw2 or Gear of War 2 are up there.

If we're taking out the realism factor, then Gears of War 2 would be right up there. Stunning game, graphically. Then there's the likes of Half Life 2 and Crysis, maybe?

Modern Warfare 2 is pretty good, as well.

On the 360 - really unsure tbh - maybe Bioshock?

As for the consoles well Uncharted 2 and Kill Zone 2 are considered by many to be the console graphics king

I think a better question Scutch is what has the best art style? Some games are very good technically, but quite bland. GoW2 for example looks good and very solid, but the muted brown palette and generic characters I think are pretty dull on the whole.

Good point. I know the scenario was to look and feel bleak, but after a while it looked monotonous and quite boring, I thought.

Agreed. Only game I've ever had to regularly stop playing the game and just look around in amazement at the beauty of this game, simply amazing!

tbh it will never come out lol its a bit like duke nukem forever they were demoing the first quadcores on it when they were amazing tech that was about a year away
