Best Head Unit

Hey

Right guys basically im looking to get a new head unit that plays my ipod and also has bluetooth connection so I can run my phone through it. I also want it to look neat in the dash and be flush with is surounds so its not sticking out loads. I was wondering what you lot thought was the best for me. I currently have the 1.2 16v with the standard renault cd player unit. Sorry if this question has been asked 100s of times before.

that one looks good. it would probably plug straight into your steering wheel control as it says steering wheel control ready. if not you can pick up an adaptor from some places for like £3

Sounds pretty sweet although id love to see one in and how easy it is to fit

Quite a few guys have this HU - Steering wheel controls on my PH1 did nt need dash off

I like the built in bluetooth and it is so much cheaper than all the other types because the ipod is just aux in.

i used to have that cd player, its not very good for the bluetooth, as the mic on it s***e u spend most of ur time shoutin for people to hear ya and if u eva want to connect an amp up till it ur outa luck. it dont have the connections n wont work with the remote wheel

I fitted one of these in the fb's car and we paid £80 for it i think off ebay NEW and Delivered Not had a problem with it , bluetooth is ok not perfect but easy to have a conversation , sound is good but yeah you cant add an amp and the HU comes with its own remote aswell

Just fitted this in my MK3 - the lead adaptor was £45 - so £165 for everything you could possiblly want.

The bluetooth is brilliant works real well and is very clear both ends

I play my ipod classic through it and it's also very good.

The blue light on it do look a little out of place, but it's still very easy to use!

^ A mate of mine got this HU in recently, says it's awesome.
You can get an Alpine steering adapter for the Clio's. Depends what model Clio you have as some adapters have different connections.

i wouldnt buy that i pod head unit x001 just yet m8,if you wait u mite get it for alot cheaper, i was talking to the guy who does my audio C.A.I he said alpine are bringing out 4-5 new i pod head units in the next 2 months

Or get the alpine 9855r i love mine
