Mk4 pioneer install

Hi all, I have a mk4 Renault Clio nav trophy. It has the r-link stereo with a Tom Tom sat nav.

I have taken off the front facia and was thinking it would be a straight forward replacement. But unfortunately not.. looks like the head unit bit is located possibly behind the glovebox or maybe buried elsewhere.
I have a pioneer sph-62 dab and it has the specific Clio harness and front facia but there is no connectors to plug into.

Has anyone else swapped over the r link headunit and if so how?

your unit is probably designed to replace a media nav system which is more like a traditional head unit behind the screen
