best panel filter

just wondering what they best panel filter for 1.2 16v is? been looking at green ones, but a few people seem to have itg ones, just wondering whats the best, and whats the best place to get them? cheers

My BMC was £30 and for that price i would say yes better throtle responce and a life time worth of use + on my car it has made it much louder ??? dont no why this is but it is good

Unless the old filter was particulary dirty it will not have made a blind bit of difference.

i got a replacement HKS element used in their "supermegaflow" mushroom filters and cut it to size with some mesh behind it and made my own for £25 lol

Air filter for the 1.2 is about £8 or so.

I believe its the placebo effect your describing. I bought a panel filter as its the same price as a new standard filter, no difference in performance. Just means i dont have to buy a new filter, just wait for one to come up second hand.
