I had my car on a rolling road today and after seeing the fiqure it gave me I've decieded it is dyer need of mapping. The only problem is knowing where to take it an who gives a good sevice. I'm based just outside Norwich and my car is a ph 2 172.

Unless you get it live mapped, as in put on a RR and tweaked until they've optimised the power and torque with a print out to confirm it,
your best bet for a straight remap is an RSTuner box from FastChip.

I know that's not what you asked, but I thought it was worth mentioning,
as it's best to know what you actually want from a remap before researching places to get it done.

Thanks im looking for abit more power, it made 167 on the rollers today and its running decat, BMC and a Sport exhaust The operator reckons I need a map to see any gains from the mods I've made, I looked at the tour de force remap which is £299 which is a way to go from me. Theres a guy in Norwich called Clive Atthow who does live remaps using unichips?
http://enginetuning.net/Unichip.html but i dont know if it would suit my car as its a "piggy back" i'm not ofay with ECU upgrades...

A map will help you find your destination ;)

I Lol'd. :)

As mentioned, the RSTuner 98RON map gives a much more bearable drive when the engine is cold and seems to give a fair amount of mid range torque increase. Smooths out the 5k kick dramatically. The added benefit of the RSTuner is that it can be used for basic diagnostics and messing about with ABS, Airbags etc.
