Best place for wheels

Where is the best and cheapest place for new wheels? Also what tyres do you recommend, for safety and wearability? Thanks

The best all-round tires Ive come across are the Toyo Proxes T1-s. They give superb traction in the wet and dry, and they wear out reasonably slowly for a hi-performnace tire. As for wheels, XS Motorsport in Hamilton can supply and fit any wheel imaginable for a decent price. Im not sure if they have a branch in Edinburgh??Theres another place Ive dealt with, Auto Image, who gave me the best quote on Kahn wheels, but I dunno if theyre cheap for all wheels.

I just got my wheels from wheelbase.

They where very helpful and where the cheepest place i found.

They also do a 0%APR buy now pay in 6 months time.

They have a massave choice (See the 3 page advert in this months max)

Only prob is they dont sell Kahns!!

Have you tried Skidz in Falkirk? That is where I got wheels from for my last car. The two Craigs at Skidz were very helpful, I might give them a call.

At the moment, my favourites are OZ Super T, Superleggera, Speedline Turini, or something similar to the F1 Cup or Speedline GTi.

i have superleggara 15s on my 172 they are so light and look really good i was going to go for super ts but cleaning them was going to be nightmare.i have used yokos 539 for the last 2 sets i feel they are good in the wet there last about 15000 but i do have traction control fitted

i am thinking of gettin yokos, what are they like?
i got my super Ls and pirelli P5000s for a tiny 390 quid, but thats cause i got help from my brother in law who works in the trade.

Ummm have to disagree with u there m8 yokos are very good tyres.
Although the toyos are also very good.

Have Yokohama A059s on my car (16/205/45). I didnt think they were up to much to start with, but then realised that both front springs were snapped!! Now have new springs and lowered suspension. They grip like a dream. I have absolute faith in them when pushing on. Have previously used Fulda, Goodyear Eagles and Pirellie P-Zeros. Yokos are the best out of these.

nono, i mean, go to a company called top gear and they have 195/50/15 yoko A539 tyres for 106 quid all in!!!
and more!!

I work for a computer consultant and graphic designer and we design all sorts of brochures, advertising, menus for restaurants and hotels, stationery etc etc using a digital camera, slide scanner, Apple Mac computer and I have to do quite a lot of typing and arranging pictures and text etc, to make the pages look attractive!

Bloody hell m8 thats a bargan.
