Best Sounding Air Filters?

What sort of air filter would you say has the best sound?

Im thinking Simota or BMC but is there any other that give a good old grunting sound :approve:

Not looking for performance gains just a nice sound.

i thought about a KnN beacuse they do make good sound but was told they can actually lose performance :S not sure either thats true or not tho...

Iv'e got a viper on mine and the noise is really good a real grunt sound, people can vouch for it on here, also got a cat back system people can here me coming down the street and they turn their heads to see whats coming

Basically open filters are for noise...

My cousin has a Viper on his Cup and i didn't notice any difference in noise.

Personally i'd just drill holes in the airbox. I wouldn't say it's any more stupid than spanking £500 on something that does nothing.

depends wether you connect up the cold air feed or not.

i?v got an Apirlo air filter. sounds absolutely amazing . very surprised by it .car sounds like a porsche. tat distinctive guzzling muffler sound . also no draw backs from it. no lose of power at all. if anything its faster now. tats probably just my driving tbh.lol.. trust me its worth a look. sounds 2 sick. wouldnt change it 4 anything .
