Best tyres on 13" steelies?

My 1.4 RT has some pretty tired looking rubber on her and I was wondering what the best sized tyre was to replace them all. I'd love some larger alloys but cant afford them as my current budgt is pretty minimal but need to get some new boots to keep her legal! What sizes do you recommend??? Cheers, Tony.

What size is best tho? Stick to the original or vary it slightly?

normally you find 155/80's on 13's.....try go a little wider like 165's.
