best way of removing superglue from car?

not mine but been asked. Just wondered what products you would use for a few runs where someone has stuck the number plate to the car and it run underneath!!!?

Any sugestions?

acetone works well when i stick my fingers together at work, just not sure what it would do to the lacquer and paint, would probably remove the lot.lol.

nail polish remover is another one.....and sweat!

If you stick body parts together, the sweat you produce works to dissolve the glue over time. It's not quick, but it does work.

yeah someone mentioned T cut on meguiars forums...? will that work do you think?
 
Tar remover is a waste of time it wont touch it, Unfortuntely the only route is superglue remover or acetone of some kind but be carful on the paintwork

You cant really pick it off as the pait will come off with it.

Maybe a wet-sand and polish if your careful have you got a pic?
 
Try warm/hot soapy water. Always got it off me and everything I didn't mean to stick together.

Failing that, low temperatures cause it to become brittle.
